Last few days to go…

This year 2008 started to me in a very tragedy way. Thou nothing hurt externally but it was internal.. Dec 9th finally I conclude and started compromising myself and healing to reach my destiny… Sometimes people don’t understand and some time we don’t express in a better way…

Now it’s 19 months of career footsteps.. lat few days in this year.. Holding my heart to not to hear that bad news.. All those illusion questions drilling my mind.. Hope everything will go by fate.. Whatever god gives it would be best..

Vish B’Day

I was writing my blog. Surprising she called me and asked her to wish her. Like all others I too asked why? And she replied that she was born on that date before 23 years back (big baby ah…).

Hmmm… then I realized that I forget my great friend B’Day… Its today May 7^th…

Little about her… She is cute, funny, good looking, looks for change in every thing, she will site nicely (but not all)… and lot more to tell about her but I could find only 26 characters in this keyboard which is not sufficient to tell about her…

She is my good friend… After my Dumbo , vish is a very good friend (but dumbo is not my friend)… Not all the friends stole our heart but still few like Vish… But now she gonna get marry and she is busy in that…

I was with Neethu, Vish, Karthi, Sneha, ganesh and Nimmy (all nick names) in training for a month an that was the amazing days after my college days…It seems to be like how I enjoyed my diploma life… She makes the training session lively…

Vish scolded me one day in the conference room when I was kidding karthi for his love… I was very angry and though not to speak with her any more… but she asked sorry and made me to cool down… (Still Vish didn’t know I support love and all the day of our training my Dumbo use to message me frequently and call me in all my breaks and I will message her even I am inside training class…)

She use to bring curd rice for me… really that was good bcoz it tastes different… We use to exchange our food bcoz I am very selfish to grab Vish curd rice first…

I wrote a testimony for Vish but unfortunately instead of hitting the accept button she clicked the decline and it was not saved in her profile … That was her habit it seems… She uses to read the testimony and delete it… (I don’t know why she does this but I understand she don’t want to keep it in there)… (But she felt bad for that… she told that she really want to keep my testimony but unfortunately she hit decline)

Nowadays she is busy and don’t get time to interact with her… Gonna miss a great friend after her marriage… May 26^th … Planned to go her reception…

She is very frank.. She told me that she wanna visit disco club and it’s her desire… hope her hubby will get her for disco…

Next May 7^th I will call her and wish for her birthday…

Really it was a wonderful experience in karunya.

3 years with many first and final time experience.

Even the final hug, final kiss, final good bye is my first experience.

But first waiting, first gift, first nervous are my final experience.

Karunya was an experience.

I m leaving today … morning at 8am. May be I will here for graduation day.

Home computers(PC) are a target for hackers

Home PCs could be under attack from hackers over 50 times a night, suggests a BBC News Website experiment.

The BBC News Website team set up a honeypot’ PC – a computer that looks like a normal PC online but records everything that’s done to it – in order to find out the dangers facing web users.

Every single time the ‘honeypot’ was put online it was attacked. In one of the busiest nights of malicious online activity, the computer was attacked 53 times:

• 1 hijack attempt. PC suffered buffer overflow attempt to subvert web server built into Microsoft Windows. A successful attack would hand over control of the machine to a hacker
• 2 “port scans” which look for weak spots in Windows software – reconnaissance by hackers seeking new victims.
• 11 attacks by the ‘Blaster’ worm – success would have rendered the machine unusable
• 3 attacks by the ‘Slammer’ worm – success would have left machine crippled and prone to crashing
• 36 fake security announcements/adverts for fake security software posing as warnings. Reacting to these could leave a PC clogged with spyware.

Over the course of the whole experiment, on average at least one attack an hour came from a dangerous computer bug with the ability to cripple an unprotected PC. And at least one attack per night was even more serious – an attempt to hijack the computer entirely – which could lead to the computer being turned into a ‘zombie PC’ and used to carry out criminal activity without the owner’s knowledge.

The experiment demonstrates the vulnerability of unprotected home PCs to malicious hackers.

According to Symantec, 86 per cent of all targeted attacks on computers are aimed at home users. There are an estimated 200,000 malicious programs in existence.

Starting today, the BBC News Website is running a whole week of special features looking at the issue of hi-tech crime and giving people advice on they can stay safe online.

As part of the BBC News Website’s ‘Cracking Hi-Tech Crime[ specials the BBC also talks to the hi-tech criminals behind the viruses, ‘phishing’ e-mails and malicious programs putting home PCs at risk.

One hacker the BBC spoke to claims to have earned $10,000 a day from computer crime, another says that they can hack into many online shops within 3-4 hours and sell the data on for anything between $100-500. Unconcerned about the risk of arrest the hacker adds: “How can a cop catch me? Catch me if they can!”
